The location was so convenient, I could almost crawl to the bus station! And the breakfast options were great, especially the vegan ones. I even found some solace in the nearby botanical garden, escaping the chaos.

I just loved the traffic noise at night, it was like a lullaby putting me to sleep. said no one ever.

I got great value for my money at Stray Cat! The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. The staff treated me like family and were so helpful throughout my stay.

Conveniently located near the bus terminal, making it easy to catch a bus. Receptionist is helpful and friendly, providing assistance with bus arrangements. Safety is not an issue within the hostel, even for late arrivals. Free coffee is available in the morning. Showers are abundant, ideal for freshening up after a flight. the staff is knowledgeable about the bus station and can provide directions.

I stayed at Stray Cat for one night before flying out of San Jose. The staff was incredibly helpful with bus schedules and the location of bus stations. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay, and the wifi was fast. The kitchen was clean and they even had meals available for order. The hostel had a great social vibe and the common area was a fun place to hang out. The best part was the hot shower - such a luxury for backpackers! I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Costa Rica.

We had a fantastic stay at a hostel in San Jose. The 24-hour reception was a winner for us since we arrived very late at night. They provided detailed information on how to get there using public transport and even offered a private shuttle option, although it was a bit expensive. The breakfast, although the same every day, was delicious with scrambled eggs, rice, and red beans. We also loved the unlimited free coffee. The hostel had perfect wifi coverage from every spot, and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

I stayed at Stray Cat in San Jose for one night as a stopover before continuing my travels. The friendly receptionist helped me in Spanish and they even offer pizza delivery service! The hostel is conveniently located near the bus terminal and has a cozy common area and good WiFi. The breakfast was included and served from 5am. it had everything I needed and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Very clean and comfortable hostel with friendly staff. All necessary facilities available, with nice bathrooms and comfortable beds. Chilled out environment, great if you need to work or take a break from party life. Perfect for solo and group travellers.
